Collaborative Evening of Dance and Visual Art at the Bob Burton Center
[Fallbrook, CA] – [June 14, 2025] – CAST Dance Academy and Artisans and Makers are proud to announce a unique collaborative event that blends the power of movement with the beauty of visual art. Taking place at the Bob Burton Center for the Performing Arts, this special day will feature two performances of a captivating dance production by CAST Dance Academy, alongside a curated art show in the theater lobby, presented by Artisans and Makers.

Guests are invited to arrive early to explore the art exhibit, featuring works by talented local youth artists across a variety of media. The gallery will be open before each performance, offering an immersive pre-show experience that highlights the vibrant creative community of Fallbrook.

Following the art show, audience members will enjoy a dynamic dance performance from CAST Dance Academy, known for their high-quality choreography and expressive storytelling through movement. This year’s program includes original dance pieces inspired by iconic artworks from some of history’s greatest masters, reimagined through motion, emotion, and music. From the surreal dreamscapes of Dalí to the vivid brushstrokes of Van Gogh, the performance promises a thought-provoking fusion of fine art and dance.

How the Collaboration Came Together
The collaboration between CAST Dance Academy and Artisans and Makers began as a shared vision to integrate visual art into the performing arts. Artisans and Makers visited CAST classrooms throughout the season, introducing dance students to the artists who inspired their choreography. As part of this creative exchange, students participated in hands-on art lessons, giving them a deeper understanding and appreciation for the techniques, themes, and history behind each featured artist. This artistic cross-pollination enriched the students’ performances and fostered a meaningful connection between disciplines.

This collaborative event is designed to celebrate artistic expression in all forms and foster a deeper connection between the performing and visual arts.

Ticket Prices:

• Adults: $25

• Seniors (65+): $20

• Students (with ID): $20

• Juniors (under 12): $15
  Plus a ticket hosting fee of approximately $1.50 per ticket.
