Director of Dance at CAST Dance Academy, Heidi has a 20 year professional dance background including the NYC Ballet at the Juilliard school and American Ballet Theatre also in NYC. Professional master ballet instructor and choreographer for all ages including professional level for 10 years.
Shannon Mueller holds an MA in Performance Psychology, a BFA in Dance Performance, a Minor in Integrated Educational Studies, and is a certified PBT instructor. Shannon is formally trained in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap.
Shannon has won numerous awards for her choreography, which has been presented internationally and worldwide.
Stacia is a dance teacher here at CAST Academy and teaches ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and acro. She has been dancing since the age of 2 and has over 15 years of dance experience. She was also captain of the Fallbrook High School Dance Team for 3 years and previously part of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. She is currently continuing her dance education at Palomar College.
Becky began her ballet training in Fallbrook at the age of three. Recently, Becky earned her American Ballet Theater’s (ACT) National Teacher Training Curriculum certification in levels Pre Primary through level three. She has also attended the summer intensive at the American Ballet Theater in New York. Past local Instructors include: Ms. Heidi Balance, Ms. Sarah Jones, Ms. Eugenia Keefer, Ms. Jackie Hepner. She has performed several roles in many ballets including, Dew Drop, Marzipan, Waltz of the Flowers, and Snow in the Nutcracker, Coppelia in Coppelia, Sylph in Les Sylphides, the Cat in Peter and the Wolf, soloist in Paquita, and for California Ballet Productions with the Corps de Ballet.
Shaylee has been dancing for over 10 years in many different styles. She has trained in the styles of ballet, jazz, lyrical, pointe, and hip hop. She has performed in several musicals at the Mission Theatre with CAST Academy, including Zaneeta Shinn in The Music Man. Shaylee loves using her creativity in choreography and coaching.
Alexis is a dance teacher at CAST who currently teaches tap, jazz, lyrical, and ballet. She has trained in various locations in San Diego County and has acquired over 10 years of dance experience. She has previously been inducted with the National Honor Society for Dance Arts as Fallbrook High School's dance team captain. Alexis is currently affiliated with tap dance company, California Rhythm Project and is choosing to continue her dance education at MiraCosta College.
Patty is the Original Founder of CAST Dance Academy, in 1993 out of a desire to fill a need when theatre classes were cut from the public school budgets. Patty has mentored and shared theatre with over 2,000 children. She is still an integral part of our team here at CAST!
Kyle is a graduate of UCSC, Film and Digital Media. He designs the sound for the performances at CAST Academy. Kyle has played guitar, bass, and drums in the local Fallbrook music scene and at national music festivals, including Spirit West Coast, and Sunshine Fest. He is also the sound recording studio engineer at Red Crosby Studios.
Studio Director at CAST Dance Academy, Jennifer is a graduate from UCLA Theatre, Film and Television with a BA in Theatre. Involved since the inception of CAST, she currently serves as the Studio Director of CAST Academy. With over 40 directing credits, she also enjoys directing the annual dance performances and WinterFest. Also, Jennifer is a licensed Music Together director and teacher.
